" The players of the month for March are Cole and Reuben.

Cole has shown great improvements over the season, with some great performances including some cracking goals. Well done, Cole!

Reuben always pays attention in training and is slowly starting to gain confidence in the game. Well done, Reuben!"

Under 8 - Matt

" Player of the month for March This goes to Ella!! What a month its been for this young lady. She has been Excellent in every game that she's played. We've tried Ella in a defensive position and she's been fantastic.

She works hard to win the ball, but she is also starting to keep possession and look for passes. Ella is also very good in training, she listens to the instructions and always does things correctly. This sets a great example to the rest of the team.

We've set the Team a task to tie shoe laces this month and Ella showed what a great team mate she is by helping our goal keeper tie her laces during a game.

Under 9 - Wayne

" After another fantastic month of football seeing us League Champions yet again, the U9s have gone for two Players of Month for March.

Firstly, this lad has gone from an absolute aversion to football (favouring rugby) to another eat, sleep and breathe footballer. He's firmly placed himself in the team as our super stopper keeper and is growing in confidence week after week. Our first player of the Month for March goes to Jimmy 'the cat' Beardmore

Secondly - this lad is the epitome of strength at the back and shows aggression and passion. He's the funniest 9yr old we've ever met and cracks a joke like no other. A great team player and an absolute asset to our squad....well done to Jude!!!!!

" Our u10s Blues, player of the Month, goes to a young man, who has made significant and noticeable changes and big improvements to his game over the month of March 2023.

His Awareness, communication, and Distribution as well as his positioning has been so good. Leyton Hutchinson is Player of the month for March.

" Our player of the month goes to Archie

His attitude and performance on the pitch has been excellent, his passing and movement is improving with every game and has been getting on the score sheet to help his team.

" Elsecar main u11's Blue March Player of the month.

No doubt about it, this lad gets the most criticism and stick (from his dad), but despite that, The hard work,determination, and dedication shown by this lad, week in week out, is unreal. He always gives it his best in every game and loves a strong challenge.

The player of the month goes to a defender our number 4. The KAISER. Jack Hudson
