Coach's Notes
Matt (Under 7's) -
October's player of the month Award for the U7s goes to Alby.
Alby is getting better and better each week and his performances in training and games have been consistent. We have worked a lot on our passing this season and Alby is always aware if any of his team mates are in space. He has assisted goals as well as scoring them.
Well done Alby keep up the good work!
Wayne (Under 8's) -
Lincoln is a fantastic all round player, but this month made the decision to be our first choice goal keeper. His very mature decision has been absolutely pivotal in our successes and in how the team plays together and gels. He is an extremely polite boy who encourages his team mates both on and off the pitch. A naturally gifted child who is a pleasure to have in my squad.
Martin (Under 9's)
Archie has improved and developed so much over the past couple of months and was really consistent during every game in October where he could have been man of Match every game. His strength is a good part of his game but he is now adding Composure and vision.
(Under 10's) -
James only started with the team in the summer. He has settled in with his new team mates really well. The team are in a tough league and the whole team are a little low on confidence at the minute. James has shown grit and determination when playing and he has shown patience on the sidelines when waiting for his chance.
Coach Gav said "James is building up his confidence and its starting to show on the pitch. He tries to get the ball down an play instead of doing the big boot up field. He is always positive in his play!!" Well done James!!
Pete (Under 11's)
Lewis Peachey is the winner of the Player of the Month award for October for the Under 11's after a month of hard work from all of the boys.
Lewis has trained hard and been more determined than ever in matches and this has shown with two goals and several assists in our recent league games.
Lewis's pace on the wings and tracking back to help out the defence both contributed to him winning this award.
This is a well deserved award for Lewis after the recent improvement in his form - well done Lewis - onwards & upwards
Martin (Under 14's)
Harry Mac is a born leader. Truth be known in September we spoke on how he needed to improve his first pass percentage. Harry went away watched video, practiced Hard and improved from 55% to 92% average. Well Done young man and keep up the outstanding work.
Keep up the fantastic work and enjoy the rewards curtesy of our sponsors HotJacks!
Our next Player of the month awards will be featured on the website on December 1st!
Brilliant well done everyone ❤️
